Welcome to the
College of Dietitians of British Columbia

The College of Dietitians of British Columbia was established on November 2, 2002 under the Health Professions Act through enactment of the Dietitians Regulation. Bylaws for the College were approved by the provincial government on December 11, 2003 and on April 1, 2004 the College became the legal authority for the regulation of dietitians in British Columbia.

The College's Mission Statement is: Under the provisions of the Health Professions Act, the mission of the College of Dietitians of British Columbia is to ensure protection of the public by establishing, monitoring and enforcing competent, safe and ethical dietetic practice.

Registration after March 31, 2010
"Late" registration is
available April 1 until September 30, 2010 with a "late" registration fee of $250.  Registrants MUST be registered to practice dietetics, including the Restricted Activities, and to use the protected title "Dietitian".

Please respond to the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) Satisfaction Survey in the April Monthly Update.  The College's new CCP software program will be demonstrated at the June 3, 2010 Annual General Meeting.

The Board of Directors review and approved proposed amendments to the CDBC Registration and Quality Assurance bylaws at the May 14 meeting. Further amendments will be review at the October 15-16 meeting.
